High-Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T)

>> A H.I.I.T workout alternates through timed intervals of various exercises (similar to circuit training) with little to no rest until a full series is complete.

>> Through the duration of one class you may end up completing 5-8 different series. A series can have anywhere from 3-5 exercises within it.

>> By using timed intervals, you are self-motivated rather than pressured to achieve the same rep count as everyone else. For instance you may have :30 seconds per exercise but you may only handle 10-reps during that time, whereas someone else may achieve 20.

>> This type of exercise gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time!

>> In the end you burn more fat and calories in the 24 hours after a H.I.I.T workout than, say, after a steady run.
